Back in August, I attended the Romance Writers of Australia National Annual Conference in Brisbane. A good conference with great industry sessions for published authors. It was lovely to catch up with author friends during the weekend. Such glorious winter weather, a far cry from the chilly temps where I live. An added bonus was that I was able to spend time with my sister and our mum.
Post conference, I completed editing my short story, Cruise to Nowhere, which will be published in a Christmas anthology my local writers group is putting together. At the moment, I am focusing on my current work in progess which I am hoping to have completed by the end of October. So far I am on track with that. I took a week off during school holidays to look after three of my grandsons. Delightful little boys who kept me on my toes. I enjoy spending time with them as they are such interesting little characters.
I am travelling again from the middle of November. Lots to prepare, and time is running out!
'Bye for now...
